Cap Feeding Gate System

For automated capping lines that do not include a cap feeder, operators are required to manually place caps onto containers that are in motion along a conveyor. The task of manually placing caps onto containers traveling along a conveyor is quite difficult.

The cap feeding gate system simplifies the manual cap placement process on an automated capping line. This user-friendly gate system stops the flow of bottles just before they enter the capping area, making it much easier and faster for the operator to place caps onto the containers.

Pucks

Small or narrow bottles, such as tubes and vials, do not travel well on conveyors due to their limited stability. Pucks provide the stability required for these applications to be conveyed securely through the filling, cap placement, and capping stations on a conveyor.

Kinex Cappers pucks are custom bored to match the diameter of the tube or small bottle they are to be used with. They include a clamping feature that will prevent the bottle from rotating during the cap placement and cap tightening operations.

Constructed of 60 durometer shore D urethane, Kinex Cappers pucks are rectangular in shape with chamfered edges that enable them to travel smoothly through the turns and curves of your conveyor system.
