LS™ 100 Pneumatic Cap Tightener

The LS™ 100 cap tightener, our least expensive bottle capper, tightens screw and lug caps from 24 mm to 83 mm in diameter. This capper features an external torque dial that makes changing the torque fast and simple with consistent results.

How It works

LS™ capping machines operate in the following way. The operator lowers the chuck onto the cap to be tightened. The operator then depresses the lever with their thumb or fingers to start the capping machine which will quickly tighten the cap onto the container. When the cap reaches the pre set torque, the operator will hear the clutch slipping and will see the chuck has stopped rotating on top of the cap. This signals the operator to release the lever and move on to the next cap.

While the LS-100 is a good capping machine that is far superior to others in its price class, it does not provide the excellent torque accuracy as well as the many ergonomic advantages that our PS Series Pneumatic hand held capping machines offer.
