Kinex Cap Inspection Station

The Kinex Cap Inspection Station is an add-on to the QuickFeed™ Cap Feeder that detects containers with cocked or missing caps and removes them from the from the conveyor.

As containers exit the QuickFeed™, the Cap Inspection System will detect if any of the passing containers have cocked or missing caps. If an issue is detected, an arm will extend, pushing the container off the conveyor and onto a side table where it can be inspected, fixed, and returned to the production queue.

The cap feeding gate system simplifies the manual cap placement process on an automated capping line.

Pucks

Small or narrow bottles, such as tubes and vials, do not travel well on conveyors due to their limited stability. Pucks provide the stability required for these applications to be conveyed securely through the filling, cap placement, and capping stations on a conveyor.

Kinex Cappers pucks are custom bored to match the diameter of the tube or small bottle they are to be used with. They include a clamping feature that will prevent the bottle from rotating during the cap placement and cap tightening operations.

Constructed of 60 durometer shore D urethane, Kinex Cappers pucks are rectangular in shape with chamfered edges that enable them to travel smoothly through the turns and curves of your conveyor system.
