Choosing the Correct Liner

Urethane Inserts - Provide superior gripping properties and excellent wear characteristics. Our standard urethane liner, 55 durometer, is the best choice for most applications. We also offer urethane liners molded from higher durometer urethane (harder); 70 durometer and 80 durometer.

White Rubber Inserts - Feature a durometer rating of 83 and very high tensile strength. A good choice when tightening caps with deep serrations, or other abrasive applications. White rubber liners do not grip as well as urethane liners.

We will provide you with four liners free of charge when you purchase a capping machine. This will allow you to evaluate all of our different types of liners with your cap so you can determine which type is best for you.
