When we discuss small caps we are in general referring to caps from 10mm - 18mm in diameter. The appropriate torque range to tighten such small caps is usually between 2 inch.lbs and 12 inch.lbs. Small caps are most frequently found in the medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Subject to greater regulation and extensive quality standards, these companies frequently require capping equipment which will deliver excellent repeatable torque accuracy on their caps and containers.
