PumpCap Capping Machines with Dual Push Activated Bottle Gripping Base

This video demonstrates how to use the Kinex Cappers® PumpCap™ trigger capper with Dual Push Button Activated Bottle Gripping Base to tighten lotion pump caps onto bottles. To cap a container, the operator places a cap loosely onto the bottle and then places the bottle onto the base of the machine, so it is resting against the backstop. The bottle is now well centered and ready to be capped.

The operator will then press the dual push buttons. When the dual push buttons are pressed, the grippers on the base of the machine move in to grip the bottle to prevent it from spinning during the capping process while the drive wheels swing in to contact and then tighten the cap. The cap will be tightened to the desired torque in less than a second and then the capping motor will automatically shut off.

When the capping motor shuts off, it signals the operator to release the dual push buttons. When the operator releases the dual push buttons, the grippers and drive wheels retract to their starting positions. The perfectly capped bottle can now be removed from the base of the machine.

Dual push buttons are considered safeguarding devices. The two push buttons must be pressed simultaneously to initiate the capping process, ensuring that the operator’s hands are removed from the capping area during the capping process.
