PS Capping Machine with Oil Free Motor and Lever Activated Base

In this video, an operator is shown using a PS™ 100 hand held capping machine with oil free motor and optional Kinex Cappers® lever activated base to tighten 11mm caps onto 2mL Sarstedt micro tubes. The PS™ 100 with oil free motor and lever activated base is an outstanding solution for tightening very small caps onto microtubes that are often processed in laboratory or pharmaceutical settings.

The PS™ 100 pneumatic bottle capper featured in this video is equipped with an oil-free pneumatic motor. Our oil-free motors do not require lubrication, ensuring that the air released from the capping motor is just as clean and dry as the compressed air it receives. This makes it an ideal hand held capper for use in clean rooms or other sterile environments.

The lever activated base is particularly well suited for use with very short or narrow bottles and tubes, such as those commonly found in pharmaceutical packaging operations.  Very short or narrow containers are difficult to hold during the capping process. There is very little space for the operator’s hand to safely hold the container without being too close to the cap when the machine is tightening it. The lever activated base holds the bottle firmly during the capping process, so the operator does not have to.
