For Customers who Have a Wide Range of Cap Sizes
When a customer has a wide range of cap sizes that they need to tighten, they will need a capping machine that can deliver a wide range of torque output to properly tighten all of their caps. For example, we frequently work with customers that need to tighten caps as small as 18 mm, and as large as 120mm. They will require a capping machine that can produce as little as 9 inch.lbs. of torque for their small cap, and as much as 70 inch.lbs. for their large cap.
Most manufacturers of semi-automatic and hand held capping machines will require that you purchase two machines to handle such a wide range in caps, or they will tell you that one machine of their stock machines can do the job when in reality it cannot. What we can do is modify the torque range of our existing machine by changing the gear ratio, RPM and torque springs so that it will accommodate the torque range you need. Not only will this keep you from having to purchase an additional capping machine, we will perform this service for you at no charge.
